Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and committed UX/UI Designer to join our vibrant team located in Münster, Karlsruhe, or Aschheim. This part-time position entails a 19-hour workweek. The designer will significantly contribute to the creation and refinement of digital applications used daily by over 30 million customers. Collaborating with diverse, cross-functional teams across multiple sites, including international partners, you will develop engaging and user-centric interfaces that enhance client satisfaction. The focus area is the Liquidität tribe managing essential banking functionalities such as accounts, transactions, contracts, and Girokonto, integrated within the VR-Banking App and online banking systems featuring an interactive 360-degree central overview.
Responsibilities
- Examine, ideate, and create contemporary and visually captivating user interfaces for both web and mobile platforms within agile team settings to ensure excellent user experiences.
- Produce clear, functional, and appealing visual designs targeting effective usability and user engagement.
- Construct prototypes, including wireframes, mockups, and high-level prototypes, aligning with established style guides to effectively convey design concepts.
- Oversee the total customer experience by turning complex and innovative requirements into intuitive, user-focused design solutions.
- Serve as the primary liaison for UX/UI inquiries from business analysts, development units, and stakeholders, ensuring consistent understanding and coordination throughout project phases.
Qualifications
- A degree in visual communication, digital media, interaction design, or a related domain.
- Several years of hands-on professional experience in UI/UX design.
- Expertise in using Figma as a design tool is mandatory.
- A strong portfolio showcasing interaction design, prototype creation, mockups, and visual design capabilities.
- Comprehensive grasp of user experience principles, design thinking, and agile workflow processes.
- Proficiency with productivity and collaboration software including Microsoft Office, Jira, and Confluence.
- Attentiveness to detail, organized approach to managing complex requirements, and high aesthetic standards.
- Effective communication, collaboration skills, motivation, and an innovative mindset enabling creative problem-solving.
