Role Overview

We are seeking dedicated trustees to contribute to the governance of our organization. The role involves helping us register as a Tier 1 social housing provider with the Ministry of Social Development, enabling the launch of a Marae-based mobile Emergency Accommodation program. This initiative focuses on creating weekly programs that embody Tikanga Maori and kaupapa Maori principles, requiring extensive planning and devoted volunteer effort.

Requirements

• Experience in accounting, finance, and budgeting advisory.
• Background in business management.
• Human resources expertise.
• Skills in public relations.
• Legal knowledge.
• Mentorship capabilities.
• Proficiency with computers, including spreadsheets.
• Understanding of charitable trusts.
• Knowledge of real estate.
• Successful completion of a police background check is mandatory.

Time Commitment
