Position Overview
We are recruiting a Train Presentation Operative for our Crewe site on a permanent basis. This role involves ensuring that trains are spotless, safe, and ready for operation according to client standards. The position follows a 4 days on, 4 days off night shift pattern, averaging 30 hours weekly from 8 PM to 5 AM.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of trains including interior doors, windows, tables, vacuuming, and collection of litter.
- Prepare and maintain cleaning kits and equipment at shift start and conclusion.
- Accurately complete all relevant documentation and paperwork related to cleaning tasks.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior cleaning experience, preferably within commercial or industrial sectors.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations regarding hazardous substances.
- Capability to work effectively both within a team and independently.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must be eligible to pass an industry-standard medical assessment.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old due to legal requirements for night shift work.
