Role Summary

Seeking a seasoned Telecommunications Specialist to join on a contract basis remotely. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining telecom systems and infrastructure to ensure robust and efficient communication networks.

Primary Duties

Design, deploy, and enhance telecommunications networks including VoIP, SIP, and PSTN technologies.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of telecom solutions within existing IT frameworks.
Conduct network monitoring, perform diagnostics, and resolve issues to uphold high network uptime and reliability.
Configure and maintain telecommunications equipment such as routers, switches, and gateways.
Prepare comprehensive documentation for network setups, policies, and operational procedures aimed at both internal and external audiences.

Required Expertise

At least 3 years of experience in telecommunications engineering or related disciplines.
Strong command of VoIP, SIP, and PSTN protocols and infrastructures.
In-depth understanding of network design, routing, and switching methodologies.
Hands-on experience managing telecom hardware including routers, switches, and gateways.
Proficiency with tools used for network monitoring and diagnostics.
Capability to troubleshoot intricate network challenges and deliver effective solutions.
Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with both technical specialists and non-technical stakeholders.
