Position Overview

The Tele-Interviewer role is a permanent, full-time remote position. You will be providing exceptional customer service as part of a team, conducting telephone interviews with insurance applicants to gather medical and lifestyle history through questionnaires. You will help schedule interviews and assist with follow-ups to ensure complete information, maintaining confidentiality throughout the process. This position operates on a Tuesday to Friday 2 PM–10 PM and Saturday 9 AM–5 PM EST shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Conduct phone interviews with insurance applicants to collect medical and lifestyle data by completing detailed questionnaires.
• Deliver positive and professional client experiences during all interactions.
• Coordinate scheduling of tele-interview appointments based on availability of applicants and interviewers.
• Follow up with applicants regarding any missing or additional information needed, ensuring privacy and confidentiality standards are upheld.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a customer service-related position.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Confident telephone communication with simultaneous documentation capability.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work towards results in a focused environment.
• Adaptability to work independently or collaboratively within a team setting to meet department goals.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in any additional spoken or written languages.
• Commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement.

Education

Post-secondary education is required.

Starting pay is approximately $20.25 per hour, with final rate dependent on experience and educational background. The company offers benefits and paid training.
