Job Overview

This position involves supporting the Centre Management Office at Pasir Ris Mall by ensuring smooth daily mall operations and maintaining optimal functionality of the building's mechanical and electrical (M&E) services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of the building's mechanical and electrical systems, including electrical wiring, lighting, chiller controls, HVAC, pumps, fire safety equipment, building management systems (BMS), and plumbing to identify any faults or issues.
• Document and report any breakdowns, defects, irregularities, maintenance works, and manage stock inventory records.
• Respond promptly to tenant feedback, complaints, and service requests, providing timely assistance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns as they arise.
• Execute routine repair and corrective maintenance tasks without delay.
• Oversee contractors during scheduled maintenance and urgent repair work to ensure compliance and quality.
• Handle operational incidents and emergency situations swiftly to minimize disruption to mall operations.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Preferably a minimum of three years’ experience in facility maintenance within a shopping mall environment.
• Skills or experience in painting, masonry, carpentry, and ironmongery are advantageous.
• Holds a NITEC certificate or equivalent qualification in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical, Air-Conditioning, or related fields.
• Availability to work rotating shifts covering early mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and public holidays (shifts include 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am).
