Role Overview

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of engineering and product projects. This includes sprint planning, backlog prioritization, deployment, and conducting post-launch evaluations. The role involves close collaboration with development, QA, DevOps, and leadership teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs within the defined scope.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Scrum teams through effective sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standup meetings.
Supervise DevOps processes such as continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD), version control, and deployment pipelines, working with technical leaders as necessary.
Convert business requirements into clear and actionable technical tasks.
Facilitate cross-functional coordination between product management, development, QA, and design departments.
Monitor project progress using tools like Asana, Jira, GitHub, and HubSpot.
Maintain project dashboards, velocity metrics, and risk logs to track and manage delivery risks.
Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and ongoing process improvement within teams.

Qualifications

Minimum four years’ experience in technical project management or as a Scrum Master.
Strong knowledge of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Practical experience managing agile software development teams.
Excellent communication skills coupled with strong leadership qualities.
Analytical thinker with a robust problem-solving capability.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Technology.
Certifications in PMP, CSM, or Agile are advantageous.
Experience in SaaS or retail technology sectors is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Hands-on familiarity with HubSpot CRM including workflows, reporting, and automation.
Understanding of SaaS product delivery lifecycles and resource management.
Background in capacity management and utilization planning.
Exposure to reporting tools like Power BI and Google Data Studio.
Experience with regulated industries such as Cannabis, Retail, or Fintech.
Capability to manage remote and hybrid teams across different time zones.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Dynamic office setting demanding strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
Extended computer use and collaborative teamwork sessions.
Availability for after-hours support during major product deployments or releases.
