Technical Operator

About the Role

Mars is seeking dedicated individuals to join our factory team as Technical Operators. This role involves being part of a shift team where you take full responsibility for specific machines, equipment, or processes within your area. Core activities include starting and stopping machines, monitoring operations, cleaning, executing basic changeovers, performing minor repairs, conducting routine checks and inspections, and operating basic ancillary tools and computer software.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a shift team of up to 15 members to meet operational targets.
• Manage performance and operation of assigned machinery, processes, or equipment.
• Promptly escalate any operational issues as needed and provide comprehensive verbal and written handovers.
• Apply mechanical knowledge to repair equipment breakdowns effectively.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum education equivalent to GCSE level or higher.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Preferred experience in FMCG or factory operations.
• Mechanical training or ability in fault diagnosis is an advantage.
