Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Technical Assistant to join the Estates Team. This position involves closely collaborating with two other Technical Assistants to deliver efficient technician-led facilities management services across all properties within the Staffordshire Commissioners portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform minor building repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors undertaking various works.
- Conduct water hygiene testing along with related planned maintenance activities.
- Participate in a rotating shift schedule: one week 6:30am–2:30pm, two weeks 7:30am–3:30pm, and one week 11:30am–7:30pm.
- Engage in a 24/7 on-call rota for estates-related issues, being on call one week every four weeks.
Skills and Qualifications
Applicants should possess strong communication skills, the ability to independently manage workloads, and be customer service oriented. Training will be provided in water hygiene, PAT testing, and health & safety.

The role offers a salary between A328,071 and A332,613, with additional payments for shift work and on-call duties. Benefits include:
