Role Overview
We seek an experienced Technical Architect to lead the Data Workbench team, focusing on full-stack development and cloud-native architecture within a regulated environment. This leadership role involves hands-on technical mentoring and designing scalable data management tools that uphold high code quality and system performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and coaching to the engineering team, establishing development best practices and quality objectives.
- Design and integrate software components using C++, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related web technologies.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure applications meet stringent efficiency benchmarks.
- Lead database architecture and migration efforts using MongoDB or traditional RDBMS, ensuring robust data handling on AWS cloud platforms.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and QA teams within a SAFe Agile framework to define and deliver features.
- Perform detailed code reviews and mentor engineers to foster ongoing technical excellence.
Technical Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in full-stack development with C++, Python, and web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
- Hands-on experience managing databases such as MongoDB or RDBMS and building cloud-native data warehouse solutions.
- Strong proficiency with DevOps tools including GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience utilizing AI-assisted tools to enhance coding and documentation productivity.
- In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles such as design patterns, object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD), and UML.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks like Cucumber, Selenium, or JUnit is highly advantageous.
Desired Profile
- 12 to 15 years of solid software engineering experience, preferably in medical devices, healthcare, or other regulated sectors.
- A proactive "startup mindset" capable of thriving in fast-paced, iterative development environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clinical experts and product management teams.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Electronics, or Electrical disciplines. Candidates with ITI certifications or diplomas in any specialization are also eligible.
