Tech & Digital Business Analyst

Overview

This role involves acting as a bridge between business goals and IT solutions. The Business Analyst will translate business needs into technical requirements, working closely with various stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of effective digital solutions in an automation-focused environment.

Job Location and Function

Positions are based in Mumbai, Chennai, and Bangalore within the IT Ops Digitization team. The role primarily manages software projects and requires moderate travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage software development projects.
• Collect, analyze, validate, and document business and technical requirements.
• Examine business processes to identify areas for improvement and design viable solutions collaboratively with development teams.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to facilitate effective communication.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and participate in user acceptance testing phases.
• Analyze relevant data to inform business decision-making.
• Support organizational change management and training efforts.
• Identify potential risks and devise appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Continuously seek to enhance processes, methodologies, and supporting tools.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech), B.Sc., B.C.A., M.C.A., or any other graduate with relevant technical certifications from NIIT, technical institutes, or Agile Scrum training.
• Minimum of three years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with exposure to the banking sector.

Skills and Expertise

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, process modeling, and documentation.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and associated tools.
• Familiarity with data analysis techniques and tools is advantageous.

Major Stakeholders

Close collaboration with BSG Product Team, ISG Team, Support Team, IT Operations, BCU, HR, and other relevant units is essential.
