About the Role
The Millar Agency Ireland is expanding rapidly due to exciting new talent acquisitions. We are seeking a dedicated Talent Agent to collaborate with the Head of TMA Ireland and play a critical role in boosting our operations across Ireland. This position involves signing and managing elite talent to directly enhance our business development and revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach promising talent to increase The Millar Agency's footprint in Ireland.
- Manage the entire onboarding journey of new talent, aligning with their career objectives over various timelines.
- Engage proactively with brands, PR firms, media channels, and production houses to secure valuable campaigns and partnerships.
- Oversee deal negotiations, including fee proposals, contract terms, and rights clearance, to optimize earnings for talent and the agency.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline ensuring steady growth and hitting commercial targets.
- Provide strategic support and career advice to talent, supervising campaign execution and deadlines.
- Foster enduring partnerships with key industry stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ experience as a Talent Agent or in a comparable brand or agency commercial role.
- Proven track record of securing lucrative brand partnerships and commercial initiatives.
- Strong background in discovering, pitching, and signing new talent, coupled with onboarding expertise.
- Experience in managing talent careers, client relations, contract negotiation, and daily agency operations in dynamic settings.
- Well-established network with brands, PR agencies, media, and production companies in Ireland and the UK.
- Comprehensive understanding of contract intricacies, rights, fee structures, and revenue-sharing models.
