Supply Chain Planning Executive

Role Overview

This role involves overseeing end-to-end supply chain planning by managing production plans, inventory control, sales and operations planning (S&OP), dispatch coordination, and cross-departmental activities to maintain optimal product availability and inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and align production schedules based on forecasted demand and organizational priorities.
• Assist with the monthly Sales & Operations Planning by providing planning data, Management Information Systems (MIS), and detailed reports.
• Supervise inventory quantities, monitor stock aging, and manage replenishment operations at manufacturing units and distribution points.
• Facilitate coordination between plants for inter-plant transfers, oversee charging operations, and plan dispatches to ensure timely product delivery.
• Monitor order fulfillment, ensure execution of dispatches, evaluate supply chain performance, and address any planning discrepancies.
• Create and maintain planning dashboards, MIS, and analytical reports to aid business decisions.
• Work collaboratively with teams from Sales, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Quality Assurance, and Regional offices to promote smooth supply chain functions.
• Lead initiatives for process enhancements in planning, inventory management, and overall operational effectiveness.

Experience and Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in any field along with an MBA and have at least five years of relevant professional experience in supply chain or related functions.
