Position Summary

The Supply Chain Director role is based onsite in St. Augustine, Florida and offers an annual salary between $75,000 and $95,000. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will oversee the supply chain and inventory management teams, guide the portfolio of contract manufacturers, and strategically plan for scalable and resilient growth. This role requires extensive experience managing the unique pressures in consumable product supply chains, ideally within dietary supplements or similar categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the current supply chain and inventory teams, removing barriers and fostering skill growth as the company expands.
• Set performance expectations, enforce accountability, and expand the team according to evolving business needs.
• Anticipate growth challenges in the supply chain, implement risk mitigation plans, and ensure systems can scale smoothly.
• Manage oversight of relationships with U.S.-based contract manufacturers, identifying the need for larger partners and early signs of instability.
• Lead sourcing efforts for new manufacturing partners, particularly for product line expansion, with international sourcing experience being a bonus.
• Supervise inventory planning and forecasting across various sales platforms, focusing on metrics relevant to ecommerce and consumable goods.
• Ensure operational precision in handling expiration dates, lot tracking, compliance, and product testing documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in inventory or supply chain leadership within growing organizations.
• Experience managing contract manufacturers including timelines, quality controls, and cost negotiations.
• Background in dietary supplements or other consumable/CPG products preferred.
• Demonstrable experience in ecommerce or retail supply chains.
• Proven record of team leadership or development.
• Strong expertise in inventory metrics and ecommerce forecasting complexities.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of international product sourcing and import regulations.
• Proven capability in identifying and onboarding new manufacturing partners.
• Familiarity with omnichannel inventory management including Amazon FBA, Shopify, and wholesale/retail channels.
• Experience working in fast-paced, founder-driven environments balancing building and managing responsibilities.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing inventory and vendor relationships for developing consumer brands, understands the critical impact of stockouts, and can lead and motivate an existing capable team without micromanagement. Experience with overseas sourcing logistics is valued.
