Role Summary

The Study Abroad Advisor role is a full-time, on-premises position based in Coimbatore. The advisor will guide prospective students throughout the entire study abroad journey—from initial counseling and program selection to application processing and visa assistance. Responsibilities include conducting individual and group counseling sessions, responding to queries, maintaining detailed student records, and working closely with the coaching and operations teams to ensure a smooth process. Keeping abreast of the latest trends, admission criteria, and policy updates across target countries is crucial to delivering accurate advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized guidance on country and program selection aligned with student aspirations.
• Help students understand and fulfill university admission requirements across major study destinations.
• Support document preparation and facilitate coordination with educational institutions.
• Assist learners with navigating visa application procedures and timelines.
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions addressing student queries.
• Maintain comprehensive and organized student records for case management.
• Collaborate with coaching and back-office teams to offer a unified student experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven capabilities in educational consulting, especially related to international study planning and admission procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective counseling and presentation delivery.
• Strong understanding of visa regulations and experience assisting with related documentation for popular study abroad destinations.
• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, business, or a related domain; prior experience in overseas education advising preferred.
