About the Opportunity
GCISolutions, a joint venture between Ventia and Downer, partners with the City of Gold Coast to maintain, renew, and enhance vital water and waste infrastructure throughout the region. We are currently seeking a skilled Storeperson to join our Gold Coast team. This role reports directly to the Superintendent and is integral to managing an effective warehouse operation, supporting inventory oversight, coordinating logistics, managing fleet activities, and handling materials management to enable smooth operational service delivery to the community.
This hands-on position suits candidates who thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving setting and who value high safety standards, organisation, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse, stores, or logistics roles
- Possession of a valid Forklift Licence with proven forklift operation skills
- Familiarity with warehouse systems, logistics processes, and safety protocols
- Competence in inventory management, including stock movement, stocktaking, and goods receipt
- Experience with SAP for materials management or purchasing is highly advantageous
- Strong computer literacy and administrative precision
- A proactive mindset toward safety, ongoing improvement, and delivering top-tier customer service
Experience related to fleet coordination, asset management, PPE oversight, or equipment maintenance is considered a strong asset.
