Store Cleaning Support Volunteer

Overview

The Salvation Army Family Store is seeking a friendly, dependable volunteer to assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers, staff, and volunteers alike. This role involves practical cleaning duties that contribute to the smooth operation and community impact of a cherished op-shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Vacuuming floors to ensure a tidy appearance
• Dusting shelves and surfaces to maintain cleanliness
• Performing general tidying and cleaning duties around the store

Candidate Requirements

• A reliable individual enthusiastic to support the team
• Comfortable undertaking light cleaning activities independently
• A strong sense of pride in keeping spaces clean and orderly
• Successful completion of a Ministry of Justice background check is mandatory

Time Commitment

Volunteers are expected to dedicate approximately two hours, once or twice weekly, with specific days and times to be mutually arranged.
