Stock Unloader Associate

Position Overview

Join Walmart Canada as a Stock Unloader Associate and gain valuable hands-on experience within a fast-moving retail environment. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the receiving area and unload merchandise from general trailers, including live unloading tasks.
• Handle refrigerable items according to cold chain standards and transport pallets to the store floor for overnight processing.
• Assist with on-floor stocking duties as assigned, supporting customers as needed to enhance their shopping experience.
• Organize and label overstock inventory in specified locations to maintain effective inventory management.
• Adhere to company safety policies, complete safety inspections, and ensure fixtures and displays remain secure and hazard-free.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.

Work Environment and Challenges

• Operate effectively in a fast-paced setting with a heavy task load, especially during overnight shifts, while managing energy and focus.
• Perform physical work involving prolonged standing, bending, and lifting products up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Carry out repetitive stock organization tasks consistently and with attention to detail to maintain store standards.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $15.50 per hour.
