Role Overview
The organization is searching for an accomplished Senior Software Development Engineer (Level IV) with extensive Java expertise to architect and implement robust, scalable, high-performance software systems. The individual will provide technical leadership, drive architectural decisions, promote best coding practices, and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Design high-level and low-level architecture (HLD and LLD) for intricate distributed systems, establishing integration frameworks and data workflows.
- Develop clean, efficient, maintainable code primarily in Java, with experience in Python or similar languages.
- Build and optimize microservices and APIs, ensuring high availability and minimal latency.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Architects, and QA professionals to deliver quality software.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct thorough code reviews to maintain coding standards.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum of seven years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Expertise in designing large-scale systems with strong command over HLD and LLD.
- Proficiency in Java, and familiarity with Python or C++.
- In-depth knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases, including caching strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Experience
- Work with distributed systems, event-driven designs, and messaging queues.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines, containerization using Docker, and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Education
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
