About the Role

Join our team at Supership as a Software Developer and contribute to the evolution of logistics technology. This role involves developing and maintaining innovative software solutions that streamline logistics and fulfillment operations, enhancing customer experiences in the supply chain sector.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using contemporary frameworks and technologies.
Build and integrate APIs to connect internal systems and external partners.
Develop and optimize database solutions to ensure efficient data management and retrieval.
Create user-friendly interfaces for both web and mobile platforms.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to software best practices.
Integrate third-party logistics and shipping APIs to enhance system functionality.
Develop interfaces bridging fulfillment center management and customer platforms.
Automate operational workflows to improve efficiency.
Implement data synchronization and handle Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards prevalent in logistics.
Conduct thorough unit and integration testing, participate in code reviews, and uphold coding standards.
Debug and resolve software issues in both development and production environments.
Monitor application performance and execute optimizations while ensuring security compliance.
Collaborate closely with operations teams, UX/UI designers, and participate in agile development cycles including sprint planning.
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.

Technical Requirements

Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
Experience with Python or Java programming languages.
Strong knowledge of SQL and database query optimization techniques.
Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS frameworks.
Experience developing RESTful APIs.
Working knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
Experience with backend frameworks like Express.js.
Version control experience using Git.
Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Preferred logistics domain knowledge including fulfillment center management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), EDI standards, and shipping APIs from carriers like FedEx, UPS, USPS, and Canada Post.
Understanding of inventory management concepts.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
3 to 5 years of professional experience in software development.
Demonstrated ability in full-stack software development.
A portfolio or project samples demonstrating technical capabilities.
