Role Overview
We are seeking a Social Media Manager with ample verified experience managing successful TikTok accounts to lead social-driven strategies for exciting brands. This role involves mentoring a team of Social Media Executives, shaping channel strategies, and producing culturally resonant and creatively compelling content. As a social-first agency, re:act values ideas that originate from platform insights and audience understanding, particularly in drinks, beauty, and lifestyle categories. The right candidate will have the ability to anticipate trends and transform social insights into compelling creative outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of Social Media Executives, fostering a creative, collaborative, and accountable team environment while promoting professional growth and wellbeing.
- Serve as a positive role model and coach, supporting future leaders within the team.
- Encourage curiosity and ongoing learning about emerging social tools, platforms, and trends among team members.
- Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, and client teams to deliver outstanding social media initiatives.
- Develop and direct social-first strategies for clients in drinks, beauty, and lifestyle sectors ensuring content is culturally relevant and platform native.
- Identify and leverage opportunities for authentic brand participation in cultural moments, including trending events and creator partnerships.
- Create innovative content ideas for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and emerging social channels, and help bring these ideas to life through scripting, filming, editing, or team collaboration.
- Promote a social-first mentality agency-wide by sharing insights, trends, and best practices.
- Manage day-to-day social media delivery for leading FMCG brands, acting as a key client contact for social strategy and content execution.
- Coordinate planning and implementation of monthly content calendars and social campaigns as well as managing influencer and user-generated content partnerships.
- Oversee the timing and quality of social media projects, multitasking across multiple campaigns and ensuring all deliverables meet high standards.
- Coordinate content production, approval workflows, and publishing schedules with internal teams using agency tools and native platforms.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, calendars and social media plans.
- Employ a data-driven approach to optimize social media performance by monitoring key metrics such as engagement, reach, community growth, and cultural relevance.
- Produce detailed reports and performance analyses for both internal teams and clients, incorporating competitor and industry insights.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven expertise managing social media accounts within an agency or brand context, especially TikTok and FMCG sectors.
- Strong skills in content creation, including filming and editing videos that effectively bring social concepts to life.
- Deep understanding of social-first content principles and platform-specific behavior, particularly on TikTok and Instagram.
- Experience working with creator collaborations and influencer marketing.
- Track record of successfully expanding social media channels and boosting audience engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and confidently present ideas and results to clients.
- Collaborative spirit with the capability to energize and clarify team efforts.
- Excellent written communication and storytelling capabilities.

- Experience leading or mentoring junior team members.
