Position Overview
We are looking for a driven Social Media Intern to support various social media efforts specifically for the Mortgage Matchup Center while contributing to wider departmental projects. This role will report to the Senior Social Media Coordinator for Mortgage Matchup Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Design innovative content strategies highlighting Mortgage Matchup Center events with emphasis on Instagram and TikTok platforms.
- Produce daily, platform-tailored social media content that enhances engagement and maintains brand consistency.
- Assist in organizing and updating the social media content calendar.
- Manage community interactions and respond to fans across social networks.
- Use trending topics and conversations in real time to expand the reach and voice of Mortgage Matchup Center and affiliated properties.
- Support event-day activities by capturing photos, filming fan-centered TikTok videos, and posting live on social channels.
- Rapidly identify and leverage emerging trends to advance the Mortgage Matchup Center's TikTok growth.
- Collaborate with the Arena Marketing team on integrated marketing campaigns promoting events and enhancing fan experiences.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong enthusiasm for entertainment, music, and live events.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Trusted to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
- Experience interacting professionally with high-profile talent.
- Keen interest in social media strategy and online community engagement.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Preferred: Prior internship or college experience managing social media accounts in the entertainment industry.
- Preferred: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere, and Photoshop.
- Preferred: Skilled content creator capable of shooting and editing photos and videos for real-time cross-platform social media content.
- Knowledgeable in managing social strategies for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Threads, Snapchat, and emerging platforms.
- Expertise in social media platforms and proven ability to innovate unique content.
