Position Overview
We are inviting applications for the position of Social Care Worker within our team based at Silverpine House, Bray, County Wicklow (CHO6). This role is available as full-time, part-time, or relief posts. The full-time option includes working 39 hours weekly (169 hours monthly), arranged through a weekly roster system.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary range: €39,160 to €54,746 per annum (pro rata), subject to Long Service Increments and expected pay increases in 2025 under the WRC agreement for Section 39 organisations.
- Annual leave entitlement is 31 days prorated based on service duration.

Role Details
The appointed Social Care Worker will be part of a committed and innovative team delivering community-based respite and holiday care for children who have physical, sensory, or mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, all within a structured quality framework.

Essential Eligibility and Qualifications
- Must hold current registration with the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU, renewed annually.
- Demonstrate possession of the necessary skills, knowledge, and suitability to fulfill the responsibilities effectively.
- Eligible to work legally in Ireland.
- Possession of a full, clean driving licence is mandatory.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience in the preparation of personal care plans and acting as a key worker.
- Proficiency in delivering personal care and assisting children with medical requirements, including medication administration.
- Participation in professional supervision processes.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of one year relevant post-qualification experience.
- Previous involvement with children and families with physical, sensory, or intellectual disabilities.
