Job Overview
We are looking to hire a proactive and experienced Senior / Site Engineer to oversee the implementation of ERSS / TERS and civil engineering projects. This position entails overall accountability for site management, supervision, and technical assistance while ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be meticulous, capable of managing site operations effectively, and able to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily construction site activities and operations
- Plan, organize, and sequence site resources and tasks
- Track project progress and productivity to ensure timely completion
- Supervise site supervisors, laborers, and subcontractor teams
- Guarantee execution aligns with approved drawings and specifications
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project criteria
- Address technical challenges on-site and provide practical solutions for ERSS / TERS works
- Oversee temporary works including excavation, shoring, and support systems
- Ensure constructability and accurate application of method statements
- Assist with quantity estimation, planning, and material management
- Communicate with main contractors, consultants, clients, and subcontractors
- Participate in or lead site meetings and technical discussions
- Coordinate with internal teams to guarantee smooth project delivery
- Maintain accurate site documentation including records, reports, and drawings
- Ensure all site activities comply with approved Method of Statement (MOS), Risk Assessment (RA), and Safe Work Procedures (SWP)
- Adhere to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies
- Manage Quality Assurance/Quality Control processes on-site
- Perform inspections to confirm quality and workmanship standards
- Oversee Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), inspection logs, and documentation
- Identify and resolve non-conformance reports (NCRs)
- Implement safety protocols and maintain site cleanliness and order
Work Details
- Working hours: Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 5 PM (6 days a week)
- Work location: On project sites
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a similar field
- At least 4 to 10 years of relevant experience in construction
- Strong background in civil, structural, or foundation engineering projects
- Prior experience in ERSS / TERS projects is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to execute site works and coordinate with multiple parties
- Capable of working independently and leading site teams effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Knowledgeable about WSH regulations and site compliance requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or BIM preferred
