About the Role
EBARA Precision Machinery Europe (EPME) is hiring a Shift Coordinator / Team Leader in Leixlip, County Kildare. The business supports leading microchip manufacturers and operates within the fast-growing semiconductor sector, supplying high-precision manufacturing solutions used in areas such as IoT, cloud computing, silicon technology, 5G, autonomous vehicle sensors, flat panel displays, smartphones, and tablets. Key Responsibilities
- Direct, guide, and back up a group of on-shift maintenance field service technicians.
- Organize, coordinate, and allocate resources for both planned and unplanned shift work.
- Act as the first technical point of support for the team.
- Take part in installation and maintenance tasks when needed.
- Make sure all activities are recorded correctly and without delay in Ebara and customer systems.
- Serve as the main contact for shift updates shared with Engineering and the next shift team.
- Contribute to handover discussions at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain compliance with Ebara and customer site health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Prepare pre-task plans for undocumented work where required.
- Arrange and stage parts needed for scheduled maintenance.
- Escalate issues in line with the required procedures.
- Track equipment patterns, technical concerns, and spare-part requirements, and report them appropriately.
- Complete after-action reviews following safety or quality incidents.
Candidate Profile
- A third-level qualification in a relevant technical field is required.
- At least 4 years of maintenance experience is expected.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and encourage a team is important.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability is needed.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional, customer-oriented approach are essential.
- A careful, detail-focused, and proactive working style is required.
- Comfort with PCs and familiarity with Ebara and customer applications/systems is important.
- Prior experience as a team lead or supervisor is beneficial.
- Good understanding of technical records, procedures, and maintenance planning tools is needed.
