Overview
Culligan Ireland is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join their team in a field-based position located in Cork. This permanent full-time role includes a 6-month probation period. The annual salary is €32,000, paid monthly, plus an additional tax-free meal allowance of €4,000. Culligan is committed to advancing global health through cleaner water, and this position plays a pivotal role in maintaining that mission by servicing and maintaining water coolers and filtration equipment at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular sanitization and disinfection of water coolers and drinking water systems following set schedules.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to guarantee equipment remains hygienic, safe, and fully operational.
- Install, service, and repair various water coolers and filtration systems.
- Replace filters and other consumable parts according to service timetables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and mechanical faults effectively.
- Maintain detailed digital records of service and sanitization activities using company platforms.
- Oversee stock management in the company van, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are available.
- Provide outstanding customer service and represent the Culligan brand professionally.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene protocols throughout all work processes.
Requirements
- Possession of a full and valid driving licence with up to 6 points and no disqualifications.
- Prior experience in field service, maintenance, technical work, hygiene, or sanitization is advantageous; however, comprehensive training will be provided.
- High standards of cleanliness, quality, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Skills in diagnosing and resolving technical or mechanical issues.
- Strong communication and customer service talents.
- Capability to work autonomously while managing a demanding schedule.
- Background in target-oriented environments with consistent achievement of performance standards and KPIs.
- Good geographical knowledge of the local and surrounding areas.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities coupled with a customer-focused approach.
