Service Advisor

Role Overview

A Service Advisor acts as a liaison between vehicle owners and service technicians by assisting customers in understanding maintenance and repair options for their cars. They address any questions clients have before scheduling appointments with technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic assessments to determine underlying issues, required repairs, and parts replacements.
• Communicate diagnosis clearly to customers using proper diagnostic forms to ensure understanding of recommended repairs.
• Provide comprehensive details about necessary services and repairs to customers.
• Promote additional services to customers to encourage upselling opportunities.
• Welcome customers, attentively listen to their requirements, and manage appointment scheduling accordingly.
• Gather customer needs and convey relevant information to Service Technicians to facilitate excellent service delivery.
• Respond to inquiries regarding service results, scheduling, vehicle drop-off, and pick-up procedures.
• Manage customer questions, complaints, and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
• Follow up with customers about approval of estimates, updates on service progress, and completion of work.
