Role Overview

As a Senior Test Analyst, you will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive testing services for a major digital transformation project, collaborating closely with Test Managers, Project Managers, business stakeholders, and vendors. This 12-month fixed-term contract is based onsite in Darwin.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain essential testing documentation such as Test Strategies, Plans, Cases, Scripts, and Status Reports.
• Plan, design, execute, and oversee System Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Production Verification Testing (PVT), and Regression Testing phases.
• Lead automation testing efforts using SmartBear TestComplete by developing and managing automated regression suites.
• Conduct integration and end-to-end testing involving multiple applications, APIs, databases, interfaces, and file transfers.
• Perform thorough API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger.
• Manage defect tracking and resolution through JIRA, facilitating defect triage and regression verifications.
• Collaborate with project teams, business partners, and vendors to maintain requirements traceability and ensure successful solution deployment.
• Coordinate UAT with business users, ensuring results meet business expectations.
• Validate data integrity and resolve issues across integrated systems to support accurate business outcomes.
• Mentor junior Test Analysts, providing technical leadership to enhance team capabilities and contribute to successful project delivery.

Candidate Profile

• At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Test Analyst on complex ICT projects.
• Expertise in all aspects of testing including planning, designing, execution, defect management, and reporting across different testing stages.
• Proficient in crafting Test Strategies, Plans, Cases, and extensive regression test suites.
• Practical experience with SmartBear TestComplete for automation testing and framework upkeep.
• Strong background in integration, end-to-end, API, and data validation testing across enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Postman, and Swagger tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills within integrated IT environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities with experience in coordinating UAT and multi-stakeholder collaboration.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality outcomes on time.
• Preferably experience in government or education sectors, ISTQB certification, and knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
