This is an opportunity to step into a delivery-led recruitment role where you will inherit active, established contract accounts from the outset. There is no business development expectation and no cold-start waiting period; live requirements are already flowing and need consistent resourcing support.

The employer is an independent recruitment firm focused on placing technology contractors with major international consultancies across the UK and Europe. Its client relationships are already established, commercially strong and regularly generating vacancies. The company is profitable, financially backed and positioned for expansion.
What the role involves
You will take responsibility for the delivery side of the desk, managing contract recruitment assignments across the UK and Europe. Current live vacancies include software developers, cloud architects and other technology contractors supporting well-known end clients in banking, automotive and technology.
- Running high-volume contract recruitment, mainly through LinkedIn Recruiter, alongside a Bullhorn CRM.
- Handling candidates across several countries, contract structures and umbrella employment arrangements.
- Developing strong working relationships with existing contacts within consultancy accounts, with the aim of taking full ownership of delivery over time.
- Working hours are generally around 9:00am to 6:00pm to match Central European clients, while still allowing practical day-to-day flexibility for family commitments such as school runs.

Package and working arrangement
- Base salary up to £36,000, depending on experience.
- Commission of 25% on all margin billed, paid from the first pound, with no threshold and no cap.
- Remote working is available, and Birmingham-based candidates can also work alongside the founder if they prefer.
- Different engagement options may be considered, including employed, self-employed or a longer-term partnership model for the right person.
