About the Role
Join Honeywell as a Senior Project Manager based in Auckland, New Zealand, where you'll be pivotal in steering the successful delivery of significant projects. Your responsibilities will encompass planning, executing, and controlling all project facets, either personally or by guiding your team, ensuring adherence to quality, timelines, and budget constraints. While primarily focused on Building Management System (BMS) projects, you may also manage various other projects as business needs dictate.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex projects to completion, meeting quality standards, schedules, and budgets.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project management documentation.
- Oversee project planning activities including communications, reporting, schedule creation, and meeting facilitation.
- Deliver monthly program status updates to clients.
- Provide accurate, ongoing forecasts of project completion costs.
- Establish and execute risk management strategies to minimize potential issues proactively.
Experience and Qualifications
- Preferably hold tertiary qualifications in Program or Project Management.
- Proficient in PMBOK methodology; PMP or Prince 2 certification highly desirable.
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) is a significant advantage.
- At least five years managing large-scale projects in BMS, electronic security, fire safety, or ICT sectors.
- Experience handling mission-critical or business-critical projects is beneficial.
- Capability to manage dependencies among multiple projects and address issues promptly through escalation.
- Skills in budget ownership, resource allocation, scheduling, forecasting, and planning.
