Senior Operations Executive

Overview

As a Senior Operations Executive based in Saudi Arabia, you will oversee the entire shipment process, ensuring smooth and timely logistics operations. You'll coordinate with transport providers, handle documentation, and ensure compliance with customs and international shipping regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end shipment processes, liaising with carriers, shipping lines, and logistics partners to secure transportation services.
• Monitor and track shipments, ensuring punctual delivery and updating clients regularly.
• Prepare and handle all necessary shipping and customs documentation in compliance with local and international laws.
• Keep abreast of customs regulations and coordinate with customs brokers for seamless clearance.
• Serve as the primary liaison for clients, providing shipment updates and resolving queries.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to meet client demands.
• Manage and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating competitive freight rates.
• Proactively identify and resolve any shipment or transportation issues in conjunction with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze operational KPIs to enhance process efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure full adherence to all transportation laws and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in freight forwarding operations.
• Comprehensive understanding of international shipping, customs procedures, and trade compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
