About the Role
Join Homes England as a Senior Product Manager based in Newcastle upon Tyne, working closely with the Head of Product and Lead Product Manager to significantly impact the development and enhancement of digital products. You will be part of a collaborative, skilled team focused on transforming Homes England into a digitally capable organisation, leading and coaching Product Managers and Associate Product Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and develop product management team members to strengthen their capabilities.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to maintain a comprehensive understanding of challenges and priorities, developing user-centric solutions aligned with business goals.
- Support delivery of strategic priorities including trusted, high-quality digital products consistent with Homes England's Digital & Data Strategy.
- Contribute to crafting a holistic, organisation-wide product strategy ensuring service-specific strategies are aligned with overall needs.
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated leadership in product management of user-focused digital products with expert strategic ownership and organizational problem-contextualisation skills.
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams delivering large-scale complex digital services, enabling development of new methodologies and coaching others.
- Deep expertise in digital delivery practices including user needs analysis, service design, prototyping, DevOps, and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality user service.
- Ability to envision and define long-term digital service objectives with a disciplined focus, and develop similar capabilities in others.
- Awareness of new and emerging digital technologies and their roles in enhancing UK public service delivery.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and strategic skills operating within agile environments focused on end-user outcomes.
- Capability to inspire teams, clearly communicate with users, and advocate for product management within and outside Homes England.
