Senior Information Analyst

Role Summary

The Senior Information Analyst will be responsible for delivering and maintaining Business Intelligence (BI) solutions that align with the Trust's information strategy, supporting the provision of critical information, intelligence, and data metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and sustain BI solutions to assist the Trust's information agenda, ensuring delivery of essential data and intelligence.
• Extract and analyze data from various information systems to generate routine and ad hoc reports for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit datasets as required for national data collections.
• Conduct data analysis, interpret findings, and report results accurately.
• Ensure the punctual and precise production of key performance indicators and contractual data reports.
• Offer expert advice on the use and interpretation of performance metrics, data, and statistical information.
• Participate in working groups to enhance information capabilities that facilitate informed decision-making.

Organizational Context

The role operates within OneLSC, with Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (BTHNHSFT) dedicated to improving patient outcomes and organizational performance through the strategic use of Information Technology. The Trust is advancing various development projects, including expanded implementation of the IMS Maxims Electronic Patient Record under the Digital Level-Up Programme.
