Senior Analyst - Warehouse Management System Expert

About the Role

The Senior Analyst acts as the Warehouse Management System (WMS) Subject Matter Expert, serving as the central authority for WMS configuration, operational efficiency, and system support. This full-time position is based on site in Singapore and involves close collaboration with customers, warehouse teams, local and global IT divisions to maintain optimal WMS performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and configure WMS settings aligned with business and operational needs.
• Deliver on-site Level 1 support by diagnosing and addressing system issues promptly.
• Escalate complex technical challenges to IT teams with clear documentation regarding impacts and replication steps.
• Act as the main communication link among customers, warehouse operations, and Contract Logistics IT for WMS issues.
• Document change requests, suggest enhancements, and identify opportunities to improve the WMS.
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with WMS best practices, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Support and optimize the use of WMS applications within warehouse workflows.
• Engage in cross-departmental projects to increase operational efficiency and system effectiveness.
• Help onboard and train new staff on WMS procedures and tools.
• Maintain and update WMS documentation, knowledge bases, and guidelines.
• Provide guidance and share knowledge on system use and best practices.
• Manage related hardware such as RF handheld devices, printers, workstations, and other equipment.
• Uphold workplace safety standards and maintain a tidy, safe working environment.
• Perform any additional tasks necessary to support WMS functions.

Skills and Expertise Required

• In-depth understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and logistics operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address system issues effectively.
• Familiarity with operational workflows and logistics processes in warehouse environments.
• Ability to evaluate operational challenges and implement appropriate solutions within established guidelines.
• Good organizational capabilities and administrative experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of liaising among diverse teams.
• Proven ability to multitask and work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting software tools.
• Knowledge and application of WMS best practices, SOPs, and related standards.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Experience ranging from 1 to 4 years in WMS, warehouse operations, or logistics roles.
• Demonstrable experience providing support for Warehouse Management Systems.
• Background in warehouse process management and operational optimization.
• Exposure to system troubleshooting, user support, and continuous process improvements preferred.
• Ability to fulfill background and compliance checks effectively.
