Senior Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Senior Accountant to oversee the financial and accounting functions for our diverse group in education, hospitality, transport, trading, and other businesses located in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting activities and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
• Utilize Tally Prime and advanced Excel tools to manage accounts effectively.
• Manage school ERP fee processing and related financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, and ESI.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow status regularly.
• Oversee vendor relations, purchase processes, and payment workflows.
• Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports and detailed financial statements monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and audit coordination across multiple firms.
• Maintain statutory compliance documentation and lead process improvements alongside team coordination.

Candidate Requirements

• Proficiency with Tally Prime accounting software and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Strong understanding of GST and other tax compliances relevant to finance.
• Experienced in banking transactions and financial planning methodologies.
• Familiar with ERP systems and MIS reporting techniques.
• Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to operate independently.
• Work experience of 2 to 5 years for Accountant level, with preference for over 5 years for Senior Accountant role.
• Educational qualifications include B.Com, M.Com, MBA in Finance, or CA Intermediate as preferred credentials.
