Senior Accountant

About the Role

Archers Properties LLP seeks a dependable and detail-focused Senior Accountant capable of independently managing comprehensive accounting functions across various sectors including Milk Distribution, Real Estate, Wood Supply, and Logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage detailed accounting records for multiple entities using Tally Prime.
• Record daily transactions encompassing sales, purchases, receipts, payments, as well as cash and bank entries.
• Oversee milk agency billing, maintain stock information, track sales by route, monitor collections, and prepare outstanding reports.
• Conduct bank, customer, supplier, and ledger reconciliations accurately.
• Handle GST, TDS, E-Invoice, and E-Way Bill processes ensuring compliance.
• Track receivables, payables, and ensure timely payments.
• Generate daily and monthly MIS reports, Profit & Loss statements, Cash Flow overviews, and Outstanding Reports.
• Maintain records for stock, expenses, employee salaries, and petty cash.
• Collaborate with Chartered Accountants for GST returns, taxation matters, audits, and finalization of accounts.
• Deliver precise daily financial reports directly to company ownership and management.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all financial and business data.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Tally Prime accounting software.
• Sound understanding of GST regulations, TDS, and related compliance requirements.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions, and complex formulas.
• Experience managing accounts for multiple firms or business units independently from transactional entry through to finalization.
• Effective communication skills in Marathi and Hindi; basic proficiency in English is required.
• Commitment to responsibility, stability, and long-term engagement.

Additional Preferences and Requirements

• Prior experience in distribution, trading, inventory management, or multi-business accounting preferred.
• Possession of a two-wheeler is desirable for occasional travel related to banking or office errands.
