Role Summary

The position is a full-time, on-site scaffolder role based in Brisbane, Queensland. Responsibilities include the assembly, erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding systems that meet company procedures and comply with safety standards. Tasks involve the careful handling and inspection of materials, ensuring stability and security of the scaffolding, and collaboration with site supervisors, tradespeople, and project managers. Safety adherence through the use of personal protective equipment and participation in safety briefings is mandatory, ensuring projects are delivered on time and with minimal operational disruption.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated ability in safe and efficient scaffolding erection, alteration, and removal.
  • Competence in working at heights, including safe access and fall protection measures.
  • Experience or formal certification for confined space work, understanding safety protocols and permits.
  • Proficiency with fall protection systems such as guardrails and fall arrest equipment.
  • Valid construction white card and other relevant safety tickets.
  • Holder of or willingness to obtain recognized scaffolding certifications (Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced).
  • Strong knowledge of Australian construction and safety regulations pertinent to temporary works and access systems.
  • Ability to interpret scaffold plans, method statements, and risk assessments accurately.
  • Good physical condition to handle manual labor outdoors in varying weather.
  • Effective communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
