About the Role
AlWatania Information Systems is looking for a skilled SAP BTP Developer to join our innovative technology team in Saudi Arabia. The selected candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying advanced applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform to aid our clients' digital transformation efforts. This position involves collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders to deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions fully integrated with existing SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement applications and services utilizing SAP BTP features such as SAP Cloud Foundry, SAP HANA, and SAP Integration Suite.
- Create custom extensions and applications leveraging SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, and related technologies within the BTP ecosystem.
- Collaborate with both business and technical teams to understand requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.
- Manage development, configuration, and deployment of SAP BTP services including workflow automation, data management, and analytic tools.
- Adhere to coding standards, perform testing, and maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure solutions are scalable and maintainable.
- Promptly diagnose and resolve technical problems to uphold system performance and reliability.
- Keep up to date with emerging trends, tools, and updates around SAP BTP to continually refine development processes.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of four years experience in SAP BTP or analogous cloud development roles.
- Thorough understanding of SAP Cloud Platform services and architecture.
- Proficiency in SAP Fiori, UI5, and application programming using Java, Node.js, or similar languages.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA database management, CDS views, and related technologies.
- Experience with integration solutions including SAP CPI, RESTful APIs, and OData services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with a proactive work approach.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
- Possession of SAP certifications relevant to BTP or cloud development is advantageous.
