Role overview

Turkish Airlines is looking for an energetic Sales Agent to join its Port Louis office in Mauritius. Key duties

• Handle reservation and booking support, ticket sales, passenger information, and passenger operations including check-in and manifest preparation.
• Work out fares, suggest suitable routing based on customer needs, and share timetable and fare details clearly.
• Process booking requests efficiently and issue tickets for both domestic and international travel.
• Manage ticket modifications such as endorsements, rerouting, and refunds/returns.
• Record and report operational revenue, expenses, financing data, and financial statistics in systems such as SAP, ERP, and DOP.

What the employer is looking for

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though candidates with at least a high school education may also be considered.
• You must hold a permanent residence permit in Mauritius; the company will not provide or support work permit arrangements.
• At least 1 year of experience in civil aviation or tourism is required.
• You should be comfortable working under pressure and managing a fast-moving workload.
• Strong English skills are necessary, along with good command of the local language(s).
• Shift work is required, including overnight shifts.
• You should be able to work well in a team and also operate independently when needed.
• The role calls for strong multitasking ability and the capacity to manage several tasks at once.
• Experience with a major computer reservation system is important; experience with Troya or Quickres is an added advantage.
• Good spoken and written communication skills are essential.
• You need a strong sense of accountability and the ability to make sound, timely decisions.
