Role Overview
As a Reward Specialist within Vodafone Ireland's HR Centre of Excellence, you will design and implement transparent, data-driven reward solutions that attract, engage, and retain employees. Reporting to the Head of Reward, you will manage the full reward lifecycle covering salary reviews, bonuses, share awards, benefits, and recognition schemes. You will also maintain and develop reward policies and governance aligned with business strategy and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end reward strategies, policies, and programs consistent with Vodafone Ireland's objectives.
- Manage critical components of the annual reward cycle, including salary and bonus reviews plus share awards and benefits administration.
- Progress initiatives such as EU Pay Transparency, Gender Pay Gap reporting, and pay equity projects.
- Collaborate with Finance to align reward budgeting, support decision-making with cost and headcount analytics, and maintain accurate reward dashboards.
- Conduct job evaluation, levelling, and governance for job architecture ensuring competitive market positioning through benchmarking and surveys.
- Lead delivery of benefits programs, including enrolment processes and design of financial and non-financial recognition schemes that enhance employee engagement.
- Advise HR Business Partners and leadership teams on reward frameworks and support international mobility policies and procedures.
- Leverage data analysis and interpret insights to provide practical recommendations to enhance reward efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement in reward processes, applying automation and AI to simplify operations and enhance outcomes.
Candidate Profile
- Relevant experience in reward management, HR, finance, or data analytics, with strong expertise in reward operations, data analysis, and reporting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in job evaluation, market benchmarking, and reward governance practices.
- Capability to analyze and utilize reward survey data effectively to inform strategy.
- Strong commercial acumen balancing employee and business needs.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills combined with high attention to detail.
- Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency with Excel and data tools, to produce meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Clear, articulate communication skills to translate complex information into understandable guidance.
- Curious mindset coupled with integrity and a constant focus on innovation and best practices.
- Collaborative team player with ability to work across departments and with external partners.
