About the Role
We are looking for a Reward Partner to enhance our team based in Leeds, working a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days in office. This is a newly created permanent role where you will assist the Head of Reward & Benefits in developing, executing, and managing reward initiatives aimed at attracting, retaining, and motivating employees throughout the Group. Collaborating closely with HR, Finance, and business leadership, you will ensure compensation, benefits, and recognition programs align with commercial goals and remain competitive within the construction and infrastructure industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert advice regarding compensation, benefits, and reward policies.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of reward strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
- Ensure reward initiatives support talent attraction and retention in the construction and engineering sectors.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis pertinent to these industries.
- Support annual salary reviews, bonus schemes, and pay cycle management.
- Advise on pay structures, job evaluation, and grading systems.
- Promote fair, consistent, and equitable pay across the company.
- Assist with employee benefits programs such as pensions, healthcare, and flexible options.
- Review and improve benefits offerings to maintain market competitiveness.
- Develop recognition and incentive schemes linked to project outcomes and performance.
- Analyse reward data to provide insights to leadership.
- Generate reports on pay trends, reward effectiveness, and cost forecasts.
- Support budgeting and financial forecasting for reward-related programs.
- Ensure adherence to relevant legislation, including equal pay and gender pay gap reporting.
- Maintain governance and oversight of pay decisions and reward frameworks.
- Facilitate audit and reporting requirements tied to compensation and benefits.
- Lead or support reward-related projects such as job architecture reviews and pay structure redesigns.
- Participate in broader HR transformation initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable experience in rewards, compensation, and benefits within HR.
- Proven ability to advise and guide business managers effectively.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret reward and market data.
- Experience managing salary review and bonus processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and reward data analysis.
