Role Overview
We invite applications for a meticulous and analytical Research Assistant / Research Analyst to aid in research efforts involving data gathering, evaluation, and comprehensive reporting. This position emphasizes collecting both qualitative and quantitative data, detecting patterns, compiling research documentation, and delivering insightful conclusions that support strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement primary and secondary research utilizing credible sources and established methodologies.
- Systematically collect, verify, analyze, and organize qualitative and quantitative datasets.
- Conduct thorough literature reviews alongside market, industry, and competitive analyses.
- Develop detailed research reports, visual presentations, dashboards, and executive summaries to communicate findings.
- Identify emerging trends and significant insights from large and complex data collections.
- Maintain up-to-date research databases and documentation ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Assist with designing surveys, questionnaires, interviews, and other data collection tools.
- Analyze output from research projects to offer actionable recommendations aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate across teams to integrate research insights into strategic initiatives.
- Present data-driven findings through clear visuals including charts and graphs.
- Ensure research practices, data integrity, and documentation meet rigorous standards.
- Support preparation of project proposals and analytical documentation.
- Stay informed on industry progressions, trends, and relevant scholarly publications.
- Propose and contribute to enhancements in research processes to elevate efficiency and data quality.
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards when managing sensitive data.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, Finance, Social Sciences, Data Analytics, Psychology, or Computer Science.
- Comprehensive understanding of qualitative and quantitative research approaches.
- Competence in data collection, analytical interpretation, and effective reporting techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with other analytical and reporting tools.
- Experience with survey platforms, statistical software, business intelligence, or visualization tools is advantageous.
- Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical thinking capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently.
- Exceptional attention to detail ensuring high data accuracy and research quality.
- Outstanding communication skills both written and oral, including presentation ability.
