Role Overview

As a Repair Assistant, you will play a crucial role in restoring vehicles to excellent condition by focusing on detailed repairs such as fixing scuffed rims, polishing windscreens, and touching up paint and interiors. This hands-on position is ideal for those wishing to develop practical repair skills in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform precise repairs on rims, paint touch-ups, interiors, and windscreens ensuring a premium finish.
• Adopt and contribute repair techniques to maintain high-quality vehicle appearance standards.
• Assist the automotive production team with moving and washing vehicles and other general duties as needed.
• Embrace new repair methods and procedures with training and upskilling provided by the team.
• Maintain accurate records by updating work orders using an iPad throughout the work shift.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in a fast-paced, physically engaging work setting, automotive experience is not mandatory.
• A genuine interest in cars or enthusiasm to learn more about vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Comfortable with technology, especially Apple devices, and quick to adapt to new systems.
• Willingness to learn and implement new techniques and processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while working on your feet.
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to high standards of work quality.
• Must hold a valid NSW driver’s licence.
