Primary Responsibilities

  • Interpret contract documents and standard contract forms accurately.
  • Perform precise quantities take-off following standard measurement methods such as CESMM and POMI.
  • Prepare a variety of payment applications—advance, interim, completion statements, retention release, final accounts—reflecting work progress along with detailed measurements and variations, coordinating monthly with operation teams in line with contract terms.
  • Engage with clients and consultants to secure timely release of payment certificates as stipulated.
  • Identify, notify, and submit claims related to variations, value engineering, cost proposals, abortive works, and loss and expense claims with comprehensive substantiation as required by the contract.
  • Assess variations from subcontractors for client submissions and reconcile internal variations, ensuring compliance with contract conditions.
  • Submit prime cost rate and provisional sum adjustments along with final measurements compliant with contract specifications.
  • Maintain and regularly update logs for payment applications, variations, and claims effectively.
  • Provide feedback on all contractual correspondence to the Project Manager.
  • Draft official correspondence to engineers, clients, and subcontractors regarding contractual matters, liaising closely with the project team.
  • Process subcontractor invoices timely, coordinating approvals for progress percentages with operations.
  • Communicate contractual and commercial updates to subcontractors during the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and log subcontractor payments, variations, claims, and contra charges systematically.
  • Ensure adherence to time, cost, quality, health, safety, and environmental standards throughout project execution.
