Quality Engineer

Overview

The Quality Engineer plays a vital role in enabling full-stack solutions by integrating multidisciplinary planning and ecosystems to expedite delivery and maintain quality throughout the application lifecycle. This role encompasses continuous security, API, and regression testing along with crafting automation strategies, developing automated test scripts, and managing data and environment configurations. The engineer actively engages in code reviews and defect monitoring to drive process improvements for end-to-end testing.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Operate independently, working towards becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Participate actively in team discussions and provide valuable input.
• Offer solutions to complex work-related challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing strategies with overall project objectives.
• Document and communicate testing outcomes clearly to stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior team members by sharing expertise and best practices.
• Continuously assess and refine testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills

• Proficient in Automated Testing methodologies.
• Experienced in designing and executing automated test scripts validating software functionality.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support automation.
• Skilled in configuring and managing test environments and data to replicate real-world scenarios.
• Strong analytical capabilities to detect defects and assist in root cause analysis.
• Understanding of security testing and API testing techniques to ensure application robustness.

Additional Details

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Automated Testing is mandatory.
• This position is located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India and requires working onsite.
• Candidates must have completed 15 years of full-time education.
