Role Overview
As a Quality Assurance Inspector at NTS Singapore, your role will involve supporting QA/QC activities within a cleanroom environment. You will carry out both in-process and final inspections, conduct functional testing based on customer drawings, and manage the identification and segregation of non-conforming parts meticulously. Maintaining precise inspection records, updating system data, issuing non-conformance material reports (NCMRs), and aiding in customer rejection verifications are critical aspects of this role. Adherence to 5S housekeeping standards and performing other assigned duties are part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist QA/QC Technicians in all quality assurance and control procedures.
- Perform inspections during assembly processes and outgoing product checks in the clean room.
- Execute functional tests according to customer specifications.
- Identify and segregate parts that do not meet quality standards prior to supervisor notification.
- Maintain thorough inspection and quality documentation.
- Accurately record and enter data into the system.
- Issue Non-Conformance Material Reports (NCMRs) and communicate findings to production teams.
- Support verification processes for customer rejections.
- Ensure 5S housekeeping principles are upheld.
- Perform other delegated duties and take accountability as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum completion of GCE 'O' Level or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a relevant quality assurance or inspection role.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
- Experience with electrical or electronic products is essential.
- Proficient in using standard QC measuring instruments and equipment.
- Highly detail-oriented and meticulous in work approach.
- Basic computer skills with competency in Microsoft Excel.
