Job Overview

The QA Engineer plays a crucial role in guaranteeing the quality and dependability of both web and mobile applications by conducting thorough manual and automated testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Create and implement detailed test plans and test cases to validate application functionality.
Conduct various types of testing including functional, regression, performance, and security assessments.
Develop and upkeep automated testing scripts using appropriate tools.
Work closely with software developers to detect, report, and fix software defects.
Ensure all software releases comply with established quality benchmarks prior to deployment.

Required Qualifications

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Have 2 to 4 years of professional experience in quality assurance or software testing.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and automation tools like Selenium, Appium, and Cypress.
Must currently be residing in Qatar.

Preferred Certifications

ISTQB Certified Tester
Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)
