Role Purpose

The Public Relations Manager will be tasked with devising and executing strategic public relations and corporate communications plans that bolster the reputation of First Tech and its associated companies. This position requires nurturing robust relationships with media, industry stakeholders, and key external partners to deliver impactful communications that increase brand visibility, align with business goals, and position the organization and its leadership as thought leaders throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support executive profiling initiatives by creating thought leadership content and identifying opportunities to enhance leadership presence.
  • Coordinate with agencies when applicable to ensure excellent execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Plan and oversee PR campaigns, media events, press briefings, and corporate announcements.
  • Track and report PR performance using metrics such as media coverage, sentiment analysis, share of voice, and other key performance indicators.
  • Ensure all communications comply with brand guidelines, regulatory standards, and corporate messaging policies.
  • Assist communication efforts across multiple divisions within the First Tech group as needed.
  • Perform any other responsibilities necessary to support business goals.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 6 to 8 or more years’ experience in public relations, corporate communications, or external communications roles.
  • Proven ability in managing communication for several brands or entities within a corporate group.
  • Preferably experienced within financial services, fintech, technology, insurtech, proptech, government, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Successful track record in designing and executing strategic PR campaigns with measurable impact on business outcomes.
  • Established relationships with media contacts across the UAE and the broader GCC region.
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication abilities, adept at crafting persuasive content for diverse audiences.
  • Experience managing communications at executive levels and developing thought leadership platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and capacity to collaborate and influence senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in managing media relations, crisis communication, and reputation management.
  • Highly organized with excellent project management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Analytical approach with experience in measuring PR effectiveness and campaign results.
