Project Manager (Remote)

Overview

Join the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) as a Project Manager where you will lead and deliver high-impact projects from initial planning through to completion. This role involves managing budgets, timelines, profit targets, and financial outcomes within contract constraints, supported by senior market program leadership. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage budgets, schedules, profit goals, and financial execution for assigned projects while complying with contract requirements and under market program leadership approval.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver quality services punctually and within budget that satisfy client expectations and meet financial and management objectives.
• Oversee all project phases including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and project closure.
• Identify and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness on projects and within project teams.
• Create and present client-facing communications such as presentations, status updates, and progress reports.
• Maintain relationships with clients and key decision-makers for the purpose of uncovering new business opportunities and sustaining customer insights.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 6 years of pertinent professional experience.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional background.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.
• Previous experience managing cybersecurity-related projects is advantageous.
• Must be eligible for security clearance.
• Although the position is remote, frequent travel (more than 50%) to client and project locations is expected.

Additional Information

• Salary range: $80,000 to $90,000 annually.
• U.S. citizenship is required for positions supporting government contracts.
• Reports to manager, director, or executive-level leadership.
