About the Role
Teksky LLC is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead petroleum construction initiatives from initial planning stages through to final completion. This role focuses on overseeing projects involving fuel system installations, underground and above-ground storage tanks (UST/AST), gas stations, convenience stores, and environmental construction endeavors. The ideal candidate will ensure projects adhere to safety standards, are delivered on time, stay within budget, and comply with all pertinent regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee petroleum construction projects including fuel systems, gas stations, convenience stores, UST/AST installations, and related environmental projects.
- Create and control project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor timelines and budgets efficiently.
- Liaise and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progress.
- Evaluate project documentation such as plans, specifications, contracts, requests for information (RFIs), submittals, and change orders.
- Conduct regular site visits and coordinate field activities to track project advancement.
- Manage subcontractors ensuring high-quality workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA rules, environmental standards, and company health and safety policies.
- Control costs, track budget expenditures, and assess financial project performance.
- Prepare regular project status reports and communicate updates to clients and management.
- Address and resolve project-related issues while maintaining client satisfaction and ensuring successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines is preferred.
- Over 5 years of project management experience specializing in Petroleum Construction, Fuel Systems, Environmental Construction, or Heavy Civil Construction sectors.
- Demonstrated experience managing Underground Storage Tank (UST) and Above Ground Storage Tank (AST) installations.
- In-depth understanding of petroleum fueling systems, construction procedures, permitting processes, and environmental regulations.
- Proficient in managing project budgets, scheduling, cost controls, and subcontractor coordination.
- Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and client relationship management expertise.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software tools.
Preferred Credentials
- Hands-on experience with petroleum fueling system components such as fuel piping and dispensers, and gas station construction.
- Background in environmental remediation projects.
- OSHA 30 certification or related safety certifications.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and state environmental compliance regulations.
